2. Knowledge Cafe

Knowledge Café experience: this is another genuine experience – it shows integrity and an approach to solving problems that takes cognisance of individual (often indigenous) expertise and local knowledge.

Each table is provided with tokens and asked to solve a given challenge. This allows for innovative and creative exchanges around the table but also between tables as tokens can be exchanged if not required. A problem could be 'Your river is being contaminated by cows walking through it. Solve the problem' and the tokens could be for instance: a fence, a water-saving device, 2 hours free consultant, tractor etc.
