Train the Trainer (TTT) is a learning method that equips people with the skills and understanding of a project, in order to deliver training, programmes or projects to others. A project partner from a citizen science project trains people to be “facilitators” – these facilitators will then train other people (participants) in how to contribute to the citizen science project e.g. through data collection.

A simple flowchart. It starts with one box, "Project Partner", next to which are the words "Train the Trainer". The lines head to two "Facilitator" boxes, and then in turn become four lines to "Participant" boxes. (The exact numbers are clearly unimportant - the idea is that "TTT" is an early stage process and can benefit many people later.)
