Stall Catchers is a very different project to Galaxy Zoo: it's a project that studies Alzheimer's disease. Please watch this short video of Leonora Erica Mimms, a Stall Catchers participant.

Citizen scientists may come to you with stories of their own. These stories are very important to them and they value it when you provide the space for these stories to be heard.

You may notice one thing she has in common with the Galaxy Zoo participants, despite the projects being so different: she wishes to contribute to scientific research. What this tells us, perhaps, is that many, many members of the public genuinely care about science.
