Alice Sheppard works at UCL Extreme Citizen Science, whose expertise is mainly face-to-face, citizen-led community work. Most of Alice's experiences come from her early work with Galaxy Zoo, where most work was started by professional scientists but several spin-offs were begun by participants, which is why you will hear Galaxy Zoo mentioned often.
