...when we painted scenes on the walls of a cave, to the hieroglyphs, the Nazca lines, geoglyphs, the invention of books, murals, tapestry, stones displayed on the ground, to the use of digital storytelling, where stories are told in different formats, across multiple social media platforms, to reach a range of audiences. They are bridges that bring us closer.

And we will see throughout the course that stories give us the opportunity to get creative, innovative, and meaningful. No matter the path we choose with stories and storytelling, there will always be a chance to connect and better communicate with the communities and people we want to reach. 

In the next step, we will meet professor and writer Fernanda Krahn Uribe, who will elaborate more on these aspects of storytelling.
