Congratulations you’ve reached the end of Part One!

Thank you for participating. It has been an exciting start to the course.

In this module, we heard from the WeObserve partners and found out about the citizen observatories they have been forming all around Europe and Africa.

  • We focused on communities and the importance of having a lot of different perspectives in a citizen science project.
  • We started considering some important environmental challenges.
  • We also explored how to choose a research question and how to design a project around your research question.

In part two, we will cover:

  • Data and the various tools and methods that can be used to measure an issue.
  • The different types of data you can collect; we’ll look at the different types of data that you might already be collecting.
  • How to plan for data collection and how to use existing platforms to manage the data you collect.
